A Big HOWDY from east Texas !
24 years ago, my husband retired from the Air Force.  I have been a dog groomer
since 1973 which is the perfect fit for me.  I've always been dog crazy! We opened
up a grooming salon and got our first Pom in 1992. (did somebody say retire?!)  It
was instant love.  Poms are the most fun dogs!  They love to play, they love their
toys, are highly trainable (as in, super smart!), they are portable and perfectly
content warming your lap or traveling with you.  Ours have been all over the U.S.
with us. In fact, we've had several litters born in state parks. My friend Judy has
had several litters born on their sail boat.  Poms dont care where they are, as long
as they are with you.

We live in beautiful east Texas on a farm. We have a small kennel, staying under
10 breeding dogs.  Poms are the only dog that we breed.  Our dogs have lots of
room to run and play and big trees to relax under.  The inside of the kennel is 14 x
32 with heat and air.  We built miniature horse type stalls inside (5x5) with dog
doors going out to large grass yards.  Our puppies are using the dog door to go
out to potty by the time they leave here, which means that they know what the
grass is for and are using the dog doors to go out to "go".  Their moms teach
them early on.  It makes potty training easier.

Everyone gets love and attention.  Once you love a pom, your hooked!  They are
such awesome, loving companions!  Be aware,  they are like potato chips, its hard
to have just one
.
